Editorial Policy

Mission

Publish accurate, plain-English guides about slip-and-fall (premises-liability) claims in the US — useful to an injured person with no legal background.

Standards

  • No invented facts. We never publish invented settlement amounts, verdict figures, statute numbers, deadline dates, or law-firm names. State-specific details appear only when verified against a primary source; otherwise we speak generally and say to check current state law.
  • YMYL care. Every claims guide carries a not-legal-advice disclaimer directing readers to a licensed attorney.
  • Sources. We prefer primary sources (statutes, court self-help pages, OSHA, CDC) over secondary commentary. External links use stable, well-known URLs.
  • Corrections. Errors are corrected promptly and transparently. Report them at info@slipandfalllawyer.site.
  • No conflicts. We take no referral fees, sell no leads, and accept no paid placements. Content is not influenced by advertisers — there are none.

Authorship

Guides are written by Marcus Webb, a writer covering premises-liability topics. He is not an attorney; author bios never claim legal credentials.

Review process

Each article is checked for: word-count and structure standards, working internal links (zero orphans), image licensing/attribution (all images are original), the legal-advice disclaimer, and absence of invented claims. Unresolved items are logged in our internal notes and the content is held or generalized until resolved.
